Charleroi / Belgium : Awareness workshop with JRS

Véronique and Florence were at the Centre Scolaire du Sacré-Coeur in Charleroi on Tuesday morning to take part in JRS awareness-raising workshops with secondary school students. The programme included discussions on migration, closed centres, the work of JRS and meetings with refugees from various backgrounds.

Initiating and cultivating in young adults critical thinking and personal perspectives in relation to an important social issue: refugees and migration. This is what is made possible by putting students in direct contact with migrants who talk about their experiences.

This is the aim of the Change Project, supported by the Foundation.
